Item 7.01. REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE

On February 11, 2009 at 10:15 a.m., Donald B. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Universal Truckload Services, Inc., or the Company, will participate on behalf of the Company in the 24th Annual BB&T Transportation Services Conference in Coral Gables, Florida. Mr. Cochran’s presentation will include an overview of the Company based on the third quarter 2008 financial results. It will be broadcast live via the internet at http://www.goutsi.com, click on “Investors” and then click the webcast link. Presentation material will be available through Friday, February 20, 2009.
